At Reflexa, we believe that true relaxation requires peace of mind. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, specifically regarding our Facial Relaxation Index (FRI) technology.

1. The Short Version Reflexa is designed with privacy as a core feature. We do not store your photos, videos, or facial data. All analysis is performed instantaneously to calculate your stress score, and the visual data is immediately discarded.

2. Facial Data & FRI Technology To provide you with a Facial Relaxation Index (FRI) score, Reflexa requires access to your device’s camera. Here is exactly how this process works:

• Collection: During a meditation session, the app captures a temporary video stream of your face.

• Processing: Individual frames (screenshots) from this stream are analyzed by our AI model to detect micro-expressions associated with stress and relaxation.

• Output: The AI generates a numerical FRI score.

• Deletion: Once the score is generated, the image data is permanently deleted.

3. Data Storage & Retention

• Facial Data: We do not store, save, or archive your facial images or video recordings. They are not saved to your device’s camera roll, and they are not stored on our servers. The data exists only for the milliseconds required to calculate your score.

• FRI Scores: Your numerical FRI scores (e.g., "85/100") are saved locally on your device to track your progress over time. This numerical data cannot be used to reconstruct your face or identify you.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties We do not share, sell, or trade your facial data with any third parties. We do not use your facial data to train our AI models or for marketing purposes.

5. Other Data We Collect We may collect anonymous, non-personal data to improve app stability, such as:

• Device type (e.g., iPhone 16)

• Crash reports

• Aggregate performance metrics

6. Your Consent By using the "FRI" feature within Reflexa and granting camera permissions, you consent to the transient processing of your facial data as described above. You may revoke camera access at any time in your iOS Settings, though this will disable the FRI feature.
